Golf Courses

ALVOR (HOLES 1-9)

Located mainly in the northern part of the property, the Alvor course takes on a parkland character where play takes place through corridors lined with pine trees.

Elevation changes were essential to the design of this nine, as most golf holes climb hillsides or descend through valleys.

Instant preview of the holes in the dunes is provided on the sixth and seventh holes.

LAGOS (HOLES 10-18)

The Lagos round starts with the same parkland character as the previous round.

This round incorporates the only two lakes on the entire golf course, the short par 3 on the third hole and par 5 on the sixth hole of the round.

On the seventh and eighth holes players will immerse themselves in the expansive dunes on the southwest of the property.

The course finishes uphill towards the Clubhouse and transitions the round once again in a parkland setting.

BEACH (HOLES 19-27)

Palmares' third 9-hole round features the golf experience that all great architects dream of having the privilege of creating: a seaside links exposed to the natural elements.

The four seaside holes are demarcated by the beach and the railroad tracks.
